1. About These Terms
Plenty Sync Financial Services Pty Ltd is an Australian proprietary company registered in Western Australia under ABN 86 701 767 142. We provide financial services and wealth planning support to individuals, families and business owners in Perth and surrounding areas of Western Australia.
If you do not agree with these Terms of Service, you should not use this website or engage our services. Where you engage us under a separate written engagement agreement or statement of advice, the terms of that document will apply in addition to, and to the extent of any inconsistency, prevail over these Terms of Service.
2. Our Services
Our services may include, depending on your engagement:
- Wealth planning and goal-setting support;
- Budgeting, cash flow and savings structures;
- Superannuation and retirement planning considerations;
- Insurance needs analysis;
- Investment strategy discussions and plan documentation;
- Ongoing review and monitoring of agreed plans.
The specific scope, deliverables, fees and timeframes applicable to your engagement will be set out in your engagement documentation or written quote provided before work commences.
3. General Advice Warning
Where any information we provide constitutes general financial product advice, it has been prepared without taking into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Before acting on any general advice, you should consider its appropriateness having regard to your own circumstances, and obtain personal advice where appropriate.
We conduct our financial services activities in accordance with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and applicable regulatory guidance. Details of any applicable authorisations, and the Financial Services Guide relevant to your engagement, will be provided to you as required by law.
4. Quotes, Fees and Payment
All fees for our services will be disclosed to you in writing before we commence work. Fees are generally structured as fixed fees for defined scopes of work, or as agreed ongoing fees for review services. Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue;
- Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date;
- Fees are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable;
- Disbursements and third-party costs incurred with your consent will be passed on at cost or as disclosed.
If you believe an invoice is incorrect, please contact us at ceo@plentysync.site before the due date so we can review it with you.
5. Your Obligations
To enable us to provide accurate and appropriate advice, you agree to:
- Provide complete, accurate and timely information about your financial circumstances;
- Inform us promptly of any material change in your circumstances, goals or risk profile;
- Read documents we provide, including any statement of advice, and raise questions promptly;
- Use our advice and plans only for the purposes for which they were prepared;
- Comply with all payment obligations under your engagement.
We are not responsible for outcomes arising from incomplete, inaccurate or out-of-date information provided by you, or from decisions you make contrary to documented advice.
6. No Guarantee of Financial Outcomes
Financial markets, legislation, tax settings and economic conditions change over time. While we apply professional care, skill and diligence in preparing strategies and plans, we do not guarantee any particular investment return, tax outcome, insurance outcome or other financial result. Projections and illustrations provided to you are estimates only and are not promises of future performance.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), or any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, including that services will be provided with due care and skill, be reasonably fit for purpose, and be supplied within a reasonable time. To the extent permitted by law, and except for those non-excludable guarantees, our liability for any loss or damage arising in connection with our services is limited as set out in section 8 of these terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to section 7 of these terms:
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your engagement is limited to the fees paid by you to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim;
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss of investment returns, however caused;
- We are not liable for the acts, omissions, insolvency or failure of any third-party product provider, fund manager, insurer, lender or platform, or for the performance of any financial product.
This clause does not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, or for breach of a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law where limitation is not permitted.
9. Third-Party Providers and Links
Our strategies may recommend or involve third-party products and services such as superannuation funds, managed investments, insurers or lending products. We do not operate these products and are not responsible for their performance, fees, terms or conduct. Product disclosure statements and other issuer documents must be read before you acquire any financial product.
This website may contain links to third-party websites. Those links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute endorsement. We accept no responsibility for the content or practices of third-party websites.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, and all plans, models, templates, calculators and documents we prepare for you, remain the intellectual property of Plenty Sync Financial Services Pty Ltd or our licensors, except that you are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use documents prepared specifically for you for your own financial planning purposes. You may not reproduce, resell or publicly distribute our materials without our prior written consent.

Content on this website is provided for general information only. It does not constitute personal financial, tax or legal advice, and must not be relied upon as such. You should obtain advice tailored to your circumstances before acting on any information published on this website.

13. Suspension and Termination
You may terminate your engagement at any time by written notice to ceo@plentysync.site. You remain liable for fees for work performed up to the date of termination.
We may suspend or terminate an engagement, with written notice, if you fail to provide required information, fail to pay fees when due, or if continuing the engagement would create a legal or ethical conflict. Where we terminate other than for your default, we will refund any fees paid for work not yet performed.
14. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us first at ceo@plentysync.site so we have a fair opportunity to resolve it. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and respond within a reasonable time.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, the parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, mediation in Perth, Western Australia, before commencing court proceedings, except where urgent relief is required.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of this website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For engaged clients, changes will not apply retroactively to an existing engagement without written agreement.
16. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia and any courts of appeal from them.
